Challenge: Providing content strategy guidance to nonprofit clients.
Background: During this short term contract I worked for digital agency Social Driver, interacting with nonprofit clients to provide guidance and recommendations on content strategy that were implemented by web developers.
This nonprofit works to increase the number of women on community boards and commissions.
I provided content strategy deliverables, including: content outlines and QA of the beta microsite.
This nonprofit works to support urban parks across America.
I directly interacted with the clients via in-depth meetings, during which I asked specific questions to uncover the pain points of their current site. The main challenge was reorganizing a vast amount of content that was hosted on an outdated, ineffective CMS. I provided content strategy deliverables, including: content outlines, sitemaps, information architecture, and QA of the beta microsite.
This microsite was created to share the results of a nationwide study that compares national and state data on the health of infants and toddlers.
